Many of you have told me to start blogging my deals, so here we go!! The art of couponing has become my obsession lately!! You have to love freebies!!!
There are many "how to" tutorials online for specific stores which I will try and adapt into this blog. I hope you can start pinching pennies and make the most out of your couponing :)
Some general basics...
1.) START CLIPPING! I have to be honest and say 80% of my coupons come from online. There are soooo many coupon printing sites available. Here are just a few...
Coupons.com
Red Plum
Smartsource
All You
All You is a magazine sold exclusively by Walmart which is awesome! It is filled with coupons and only costs around 2.50 to purchase)
You can also always check a manufacturer's website. Many will have "Special Offer" links with coupons or samples. Some examples are Loreal, Dove, Degree, Lubriderm, etc... You can find some high value coupons that you generally would not be able to get from the paper.
On most sites you are able to print (2) per computer. Sometimes, when you are lucky, you can score a few more. Just keep hitting the back button! It will tell you when you reached the max.
2.) Learn to love stores with their "own" coupons. I LOVE Target, Rite Aid, and Walgreens (I dont have CVS otherwise I am sure I would like that too). They each carry their own store coupons which you can double up with manufacturer ones. Bet you didnt know that huh?! :) This makes VERY good deals. You can find Target coupons here on a coupon generator, or you can also find them on the Target website.
Hot Coupon World
Rite Aid has started a new program called the Wellness Program. You can sign up online for a savings card, where you earn points for your purchases. Your points can add up to discount passes, and they even offer some coupons which can be stacked with Manufacturer coupons. They are supposedly only to be used in the "test areas" listed however many stores are not implementing it. These are what I am primarily using lately. On the Rite Aid website you can even get coupons from watching Ads, how cool is that??
5.) Check out online blogs. You can only learn from each other. I have found so many deals from reading blogs (which I hope someday you can from reading mine). Here are just a few that I follow and LOVE.
